A little time to be yourself.
Be Yourself started with Will and a camera on the streets of Porto. In 2023 he quit his job to go all in on art, and started stopping strangers to take their photo, selling Polaroids on the spot, then digital photos once the printer gave up. More than 2,000 street portraits later, he’s still hooked, and still heads out onto the street whenever he can to keep the flame alive.
His favourite part? Photographing people who never pictured themselves in front of a camera, some who used to run a mile from one. They give it a go, and end up loving the whole thing, photos included.
That’s what every session is about: a pro eye, a little gentle guidance, and plenty of room to relax and just be yourself.

Before you book
A few things you might be wondering.
- Not at all. Your photographer will help with where to stand, where to look and what to do with your hands, while leaving room for moments that happen naturally.
- A photoshoot in Porto costs 100€ for 30 minutes with 10 edited photos, 180€ for 1 hour with 25 edited photos or 320€ for 2 hours with 50 edited photos.
- Proposal photography costs 150€ for 30 minutes with 15 edited photos, 250€ for 1 hour with 30 edited photos or 400€ for 2 hours with 60 edited photos.
- Extra photos are 5€ each, and you can unlock the full gallery for 50€ for 30 minutes, 120€ for 1 hour or 200€ for 2 hours. For a wedding proposal, the full gallery is 75€ for 30 minutes, 150€ for 1 hour or 250€ for 2 hours. You always see the total before paying.
- Choose the setting that feels right for you: city streets, nature, ocean or riverside. You’ll find your meeting point in your booking details.
- We aim to have your edited gallery ready within 48 hours of your shoot. We’ll email you when you can choose your favourite photos. Your selection previews include a watermark; your downloaded photos do not.
- Your booking summary shows the price of your shoot and the number of edited photos included. When your gallery is ready, you can add individual photos or unlock the full gallery. You’ll see the total before paying. You can also buy the full gallery after finishing your selection, while it remains available.
- Your selected photos are available to download for 6 months after you complete your selection.
- Weather does not automatically mean your session needs to be cancelled. We can often adapt the location, timing or approach, and we will contact you if conditions may be unsafe.
- One date change is free with at least 72 hours’ notice, subject to availability. Cancel at least 7 days before your session for a full refund, or at least 72 hours before for 50%. The full details are on the policies page.
- Only with your permission. Choosing not to share your photos publicly does not affect your private gallery or downloads.
